PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

In our attempt to promote abroad education on an unbiased platform, we have so far organized the following events:

1. Nepal International Education Expo
2. Education UK Exhibition
3. The Education & Career Times

Nepal International Education Expo

This event was our first attempt to break the ice of conducting international class event on education in Nepal in 2004. The event was greatly successful. There were participants from the UK, the USA, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Singapore and Cyprus. The total number of participants was 15. Though in a very small scale, the event got an overwhelming response from the students. Everyone was seen in fresh mood even after having a long day rush. It seemed that the participants and the visitors were really content.

Education UK Exhibition

This is a segmented event to promote the UK education in Nepal. British Council, Nepal presents and monitors the event. There were 19 colleges and universities from the UK at the first year i.e, in 2007 and the number rose to 28 in 2008. The event is generally organized in February with an attempt to en route the participants of the Education UK Exhibition in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The detail of the event can be obtained from the appropriate link of our website or from the website of Education UK Exhibitions.

The Education & Career Times

Education & Career Times launched during Nepal International Education Expo – 2005 is purely an educational monthly English tabloid.

The overwhelming response from a large group of readers in its first issue had really prompted us and encouraged us to keep on bringing out the news paper regularly. Quality education is the need of the hour. So the EC Times was dedicated to update the readers with the current trends and latest happenings in the National and International education sectors by disseminating valuable and useful information along with entertainment tips. The paper was distributed free of cost to the schools and colleges and was made available even on news stands on pay. After its 6th issue, the EC Times has been stopped publishing due to some unavoidable circumstances. However efforts are being made to revive the same.
